LEARNING TO QUOTE • A course teaching road hauliers, freight forwarders, parcels couriers and others in transport to quote effectively for their services is being offered near London.
Successful Quotation aims to show how to calculate and deliver freight quotations and is designed to give course members an understanding of the real costs of international transport and alternative ways of pricing, as well as negotiation techniques to maximise profits, and the importance of the follow-up stage. Too many neglect successful quoting techniques, say the organisers.
