free. No reason was given for ending his one-year sentence eight months early, but Henderson was told by warders on Monday last week that he had just one hour to leave the prison and a day to get out of the country.
He was due to be united with his wife Josephine in Tranent, near Edinburgh, this week. She says he hopes to continue his owner-operator business, although she has had to sell his truck to help with money problems. It is thought his release may have something to do with the visit of the Hungarian prime minister to the UK this week.
