JAMES DAVIS has added a fourth directorship to his list of responsibilities in the transport field. With effect from May 1 he has been appointed a nonexecutive director of the Transport Development Group.
Jim Davis, who is 55, is also on the boards of Kleinwort Benson, Associated British Ports and DFDS (UK). From 1981 to 1982 he was president of the Chartered Institute of Transport, when he broke with tradition by moving the CIT summer weekend conference from Oxford to Cambridge.
