A The Central Training Council (which has the backing of the Ministry of Labour) enumerates the main tasks required by Section 2 of the Industrial Training Act as: 1) Assess the manpower and training requirements of its industry; (2) draw up training recommendations and recommendations for associated further education courses; (3) see that these recommendations are put into effect: and (4) ensure that training schemes remain effective and relevant.
