Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN internal reorganization and rationalization of the Scottish Omnibuses Group came into effect on Tuesday. A new controlling company, Scottish Omnibuses Group (Holdings), Ltd., has been created for the Group companies. Mr. James Amos continues as chairman and no board changes have occurred.

On the same day, three new companies took over the services of W. Alexander and Sons, Ltd. They are W. Alexander and Sons (Midland), Ltd., W. Alexander and Sons (Fife), Ltd., and W. Alexander and Sons (Northern), Ltd. The David Lawson. Ltd., services are now part of W. Alexander (Midland), Ltd. Mr. Amos is chairman of all these companies, too:

The measures, which were purely domestic ones and nothing to do with the Government White Paper on nationalized transport, were intended to rationalize the Group and provide more avenues for promotion of young men, a spokesman told The Commercial Motor.

No Change of Site for Covent Garden

COVENT GARDEN Market must

remain where it is now sited in London. This was made clear on Tuesday by Mr. Soamcs, the Minister of Agriculture, during the committee stage of the Covent Garden Market Bill in the House of Commons. writes our Parliamentary Correspondent..

Mr. J. Hall (Conservative, Wycombe) wanted to see it sited elsewhere. Hit.; amendment was defeated. The Bill went through its Report stage and received an unopposed Third Reading.

Sir Wavel Wakefield, who had supported the amendment, thought spare B.T.C. land could be used.
