Under the Bill, Sunderland Corporation is seeking to bring 1,642 acres of land within the borough boundary and wants to run corporation transport to .the areas to be absorbed.
At a private meeting between representatives of the corporation and the bus companies, the corporation refused to make any compromise and is to proceed with the Bill
