• Lifting Tackle Suppliers has signed a UK distribution agreement with French shackle manufacturer Forges LeBeon to market its Orange Pin range of high-load, US Federal specification alloy shackles.
One of the advantages claimed for alloy shackles is in their price: the suppliers suggest that they are available for half the price of UK products. Until recently the supply of Orange Pin shackles has been limited in the UK; urs can now supply them from stock.
The units range from two
tonne (both dee and bow patterns) up to a mighty 1,500-tonne safety anchor bow-type shackle.
From its West Midlands distribution centre LIS is able to dispatch the complete range of products, all of which are detailed in a new catalogue.
