S.T.R. to Lecture at Salisbury.

S.T.R., The Commercial Motor costs expert, is to address the Salisbury Subarea of A.R.O. The meeting has been provisionally fixed to take place next Friday (June 19) at the Pheasant Inn, Salt Lane, Salisbury, at 8 p.m,

New C.M.U.A. Centre Gets Going.

The recently formed Croydon Subarea of the C.M.U.A. holds its first committee meeting on Tuesday next. The primary business will be to appoint a chairman and a secretary.

New North Devon Secretary.

Owing to ill health, Mr. J. W. F. Parkbouse (Barnstaple) has resigned the position of hon. secretary of A.R.O. North Devon Sub-area, Mr. C. J. Scott has undertaken to carry out the duties.

Cases Transferred to Suit A.R.O.

In response to requests by A.R.O., the Yorkshire Licensing Authority has transferred the hearing of a number of applications by the L.N.E.. Railway Co. for licences for additional motor vehicles, to venues which will be more convenient to objecting A.R.O. mem. Ws.
