on February 5 (The Connerdal Motor, February 8) he added, and would expire on July 29. Experience showed that the service had run at a loss until the last three weeks, when it had just recovered its cost.
Mr. John Green, for North Western, said that they had bought the goodwill of all the Bostock stage-carriage services and were prepared to provide the service between Congleton and the Woodford works. Because of redundancy at another factory, the employees living in the Congleton area were being transferred to Woodford. Many other services were ,already provided for A. V. Roe by the company.
The application by North Western to provide the service was granted.
