Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AVON AND SOMERSET police are appealing for information after a delivery driver was forced to drive 250 miles at knifepoint.

The 20-year-old driver was delivering a parcel in Brislington, Bristol just before 10am on 28 January when the offender got into the passenger seat of his van, a white Vauxhall Vivaro.

The man then threatened the driver with a wooden-handled flick knife and demanded to be driven to Derby.

Four hours later the offender told the van driver to stop. He got out at Oakwood Business Park in Derby and ran off.

The man is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, with ginger hair, and unshaven. He was wearing a black bomberjacket, a black woollen hat and dirty trainers.

DC Neil Meade, Brislington CID, says: "This is quite an unusual offence and must have been extremely traumatic experience for the victim.

"Although nothing was stolen and the victim suffered no injuries, he was held at knifepoint and forced to drive over 200 miles. We are urging any witnesses to contact us."

• Contact: Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with any information.
