TRANSPORT DEVELOPMENT I Group Ltd. has acquired the issued share capital of John Jackson (Contractors) Ltd., its subsidiary Robert Mitchell and Co. (Contractors) Ltd., and Angus Hyslop Ltd. for a total price of 01,587 ha cash.
John Jackson and Robert Mitchell operate between them 22 vehicles with a carrying capacity of 200 tons, on general haulage work, whilst Angus Hyslop operates 19 vehicles with a carrying capacity of 120 tons on general haulage work. The companies will henceforth operate in association with J. and R. Wright (Haulage) Ltd., of Rutherglen, Glasgow.
T.D.G. has also acquired the issued share capital of Dakin's (Removals) Ltd.. of Nottingham, with a fleet of 26 vehicles principally engaged on domestic removals and a bulk parcels service to London. The transaction involved a consideration of £91,775 in cash.
