DESPITE allegations by one applicant that British Railways had been "getting at" prospective witnesses, two hauliers who sought to cater for increased steel traffic from Tees-side, made successfulapplications before Mr. G. W. Duncan, Deputy Northern Licensing Authority, at Stockton last week. Additional facilities were granted to Siddle C. Cook, Ltd., of Consett, County Durham, and to H. L. Walker, . Ltd., of Thornaby.
