THE United Kingdom distribution organization of Fina Petroleum Products, Ltd., has undergone changes and alterations have been made in regional titles and areas of control as follows: South-west region, formerly Watson's Petroleum Co., Ltd., 123, Westgate Street, Gloucester; south-east region, formerly London division, 20, Queen Caroline Street, London, W.8; Midland region, combining the former eastern and south Midland divisions, Abbey Chambers, 40, Abbey Street, Nuneaton; north-east region, combining the former north Midland and northern divisions, bunness Wharf, Gunness, near Scunthorpe; Scottish region, formerly Scottish division, 50, Wellington Street. Glasgow, C.I.
Watson's Petroleum Co., Ltd., will continue to administer its north-western region as before and its headquarters will remain at The Dock, Preston.
CHEAP TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL
THE importance of cheap and efficient road transport in West Cumberland, to which the recent trade recession added emphasis, is stressed in the annual report of the West Cumberland Industrial Development Council.
The council believes that a westcoast road should be built. Possible restrictions on the volume of traffic coming through the national park area would compel the use of the Penrith route and add mileage and raise the cost to transport.
