Colleague helps • Lorry driver Patrick Keating of Carlow, accused of winding back his tachograph, was able to show he had not, thanks to his colleague who had followed him throughout his journey. Keating admitted he had opened the head of his tachograph to check on his driving time.
Representors missing Ill North Eastern and Eastern DTC Brian Homer has granted a new application for three vehicles from Whitwick-based E Newberry & Son at a public inquiry in Leicester, after representors did not attend.
