PS: How many child molesters and men who use prostitutes live in Lanarkshire? Are they among the residents objecting to the lorry park?

It was with interest I read about the objections to a lorry park at Mossend in Lanarkshire (CM, March 29).

Do these protestors really believe that we are all perverts and sex maniacs, to he shunted into a field in the middle of nowhere for a night out.

Most drivers, myself included, are family men, harassed by environmentalists and officialdom while delivering the nation's goods.

To have these accusations levelled at us adds insult to injury. Do we have to change our jobs to become decent members of society?
