• Dawson Williams has been appointed managing director of Hampshire Bus, based at Winchester. He takes over from the presen. managing director, Geoffre Webb, whose early retirement from NBC on October 31 was recently announced.
Williams, is currently regional engineering executive for NBC's South Region, based at Oxford. 14, joined the industry as an apprentice fitter with Neath and Cardiff Luxury Coaches 1954 and later spent a perio working in the West Indies before returning to Britain ii 1964 with Ribble, where he progressed to the post of ar engineer.
He moved to Crosville as assistant chief engineer and three years later he became chief engineer at Hants and Dorset. He was appointed general manager of Eastern Counties at Norwich in April 1982, moving to his present position in July 1984.
1] David Grove has been appointed financial director fi South Midland, based at Witney, Oxfordshire, from April 1, 1986.
He joins South Midland frc Techomes, and Journal Holidays.
