Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ROYAL MAIL will use Manheim Auctions in Washington, Sunderland to defleet its stock operating in the North-East and Scotland.

Annessa Lehane, Royal Mail's national vehicle sales manager, says Manheim's appointment to shift up to 300 vans and trucks a year demonstrates its commitment to the commercial vehicle market, and ability and flexibility to meet Royal Mails requirements'.

"This additional regional defleet centre will result in a more efficient defleet management operation, plus both organisations will benefit from a new Royal Mail auction programme at Washington," she says.

Royal Mail already defleets its vehicles through Colchester, Gloucester and Haydock. Alex Wright, sales director, commercial vehicles at Manheim Auctions, says: "Manheim has conducted successful auctions for Royal Mail for many years and the appointment of Manheim Auctions, Washington as a regional defleet centre further strengthens our relationship."
