THE Newton 'electric is, compara tively, a newcomer into the electricat vehicle world, although the company have been manufacturing other types of.; electric appliances for many

years. They thusi embody that experience• gained during over 25 years of manufacturing, „dynamo electrio machinery.

Only one model will be on view. This • machine has two special motors, each of Which is 7eared independently to one of the rear driving wheels. The most interesting point about the fitting of the motons is that they are mounted upon. springs in such a manner that no road shocks can be transmitted to theta, except through two spring systems. in series.

Each of the motors is arranged so that it can be re-placed in the shortest time possible, and it is unnecessary to die.: mantle the rear axle in order to remove. a motor or renew a pinion. The final drive is through one pinion and an internal spur wheel for each motor, the =ffieaza being enclosed to exclude atones, dirt and water.

The controller is of the, series parallel' type, no resistanoe being used when it is in the running positions. Four forward and two reverse speeds are provided, and the controller is operated by means of a lever from the driver's seat.
