Y24 Stonefield Vehicles Ltd, Cumnock, Ayrshire.
STONEFIELD was founded by the late Jim McKelvie, who was instrumental in launching Volvo commercial vehicles in Great Britain.
One of the vehicles is a pickup using the Ferguson fourwheel-drivetransmission system and a three litre (183cuin) Ford V6 petrol engine.
The other Stonefield is a more powerful seven-seater personnel carrier with bodywork by Reeves Burgess which has just been sold to the Racal Company as a cross-country radio transmitter. It is powered by a 5.2-litre (317cuin) Chrysler V8 petrol engine coupled to the Ferguson system.
