Sheffield Watch Committee has accepted the tender, at £701, of Messrs. Bootless Bros. for the supply of an ambulance.

Plymouth Transport Committee has accepted the quotation of Leyland Motors, Ltd., for the supply of 25 double-deck buses.

Sheffield Watch Committee has accepted the tender of Bentley Bros, (Sheffield), Ltd., for the supply of a Bedford 5-6 cwt. van.

Hutt Transport Committee has accepted the tender of East Lancashire Coach Builders, Ltd., for the supply of trolleybus 'bodies. Sheffield Corporation has accepted the quotation of the Hallamshire Tyre and Motor Co., Ltd., for the supply of a Bedford 2-ton tipping lorry.

Seaham Urban District Council is in the market. for an oil-engined roller of approximately 81/2 tons weight; the closing date for tenders is November 14.
