Southampton Corporation is buying eight Leyland double-deck oilers. Gosport Fire Brigade has indented for the supply ol a Leyland 500-700 g.p.m. fire-engine with enclosed body.
Birkenhead Corporation recommends the purchase of an ambulance for -the public assistanct department, at a cost of about £500.
