A NEW FORD Truck Centre opened yesterday in Leicester.
Central Motor Company of Leicester has a new site in Melton Road about 11/2 miles from the city centre, which is part of the £906,000 expansion plan of its parent company, Thomas W. Ward Group.
The new centre has separate hgv and light van workshops using flow-line servicing. Facilities include electronic engine fault diagnostic equipment, a rolling road and a steam-cleaning area.
A commercial vehicle parts delivery service operates from the centre within a radius of 15 miles and a 24-hour breakdown and recovery service is also based at Melton Road.
