Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

mill. Could you tell me the basic wage rate for this type of work, and also if this rate is the same as for haulage drivers (my wage is £22.20 for 40 hours)?

ADrivers* minimum wages arc governed

by the Wages Regulations (Road Haulage) Order 1972 Statutory Instrument 581. This shows that a driver of a vehicle over 21 tons capacity outside the London area should be paid at the minimum rate of £20.38 a week for 40 hours.

Increases are proposed, however, under a new Road Haulage Wages Council agreement at present being considered.
