MR,. THOMAS DAVENPORT, transport manager of Peter Walker, Ltd., Warrington, has retired at the age of 73 and has been succeeded by his son, MR. F. DAVENPORT.

Ma. W. G. NAISMITH has been appointed assistant to MR, D. M. GREENSHIELDS, regional manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland of the India Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd.
