THE Thornycroft Mastiff range of four' wheelers now includes a tractor for 18 tons gross train weight. It has a wheelbase of 8 ft. 6 in. and is fitted with the standard Thornycroft plastics cab. Licensing weight is 31 tons excluding the fifth-wheel coupling.
The tractor is powered by the NS6 7.88-litre oil engine.
