Around 190 drivers will be recruited for the work, and these are likely to include several Mirror Group drivers currently working in Manchester.
Cartin says the "couple of millions plus" which will be invested in the new contract comes direct from NFC, adding that: "This is a longterm contract; we certainly would not be investing so much if it was not."
