Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE weekly production of Ford commercial vehicles (including buses and coaches) averaged 2,777 in April this year compared with 2,474 during April, 1975.

In contrast, according to figures released this week by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the weekly output of most other manufacturers declined.

British Leyland Truck and Bus Division was making 898 vehicles a week in April last year, but could manage only 564 this year.
