Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Large Flange Avex, large diameter head fasteners added to the Avex riveting system, can join materials of 0.250in. to 0.781in. thick.

The rivet is said to give an attractive finish, being almost flush to the material surface, as well as being ideal for use on softer materials such as wood, plastics and fibreglass.

Designed for use by unskilled labour, the rivets are placed into pre-drilled holes and the power tool is engaged with the rivet stem. The jaws of the tool grip and pull the stem, filling the hole and clamping the materials together, until the tail of the stem breaks away and is discharged. The remainder of the stem is left positively retained in the rivet.
