• The Department of Transport will be undertaking major maintenance work and road renewal throughout the motorway network; until 31 March 1992.
Stretches of the M25 will be affected to varying degrees: severe delays are anticipated at J29-31 in Essex where a contrafiow will operate for work on the Dartford River Crossing.
On the M40 in Buckinghamshire the slip roads at J2 will be closed for overlay works.
Severe delays may also occur on the M62 near Manchester at J17-18.
