A Goods vehicles exceeding 2 tons unladen
• –• weight must never park at night without lights.
Goods vehicles not exceeding 2 tons unladen weight. private cars and motorcycles (but not vehicles carrying projecting or overhanging loads or drawing a trailer) may park at night without lights within 25yd of a lighted street lamp on the following roads: Metropolitan Police District and City of London: All roads other than bus routes; Outside London: Roads specified by the police and signed for parking without lights.
In no circumstances should vehicles be parked within 15yd of a road junction.
