QTANDARDIZATION is a subject of 1,—)great moment at the present time. In this connection, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders states that many new standards are awaiting the approval of the British Standards Institution's automobile industry committee.
Standards already in existence cover accessories, components and small fittings, bodywork and coachwork, electrical equipment, transmission and power units, and miscellaneous items. Copies can be obtained from the S.M.M.T., 148 Piccadilly, London, W.I.
