Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

EIOR the purpose of demonstrating 1the special features of Wayne petrol-pump equipment, Spurling Motor Bodies, Ltd., Edgware Road, The Hyde, London, N.W.9, has constructed the somewhat unusual type of body shown in the accompanying illustration.

The body framing is in wood, and the panelling throughout is of 22gauge sheet steel, with mouldings in aluminium. Quarter panels are fitted at the rear end of the body, with small double doors a recessed step being provided for easy entry.

The sides of the body at the rear are swept slightly outwards and down to the floor over the wheel-arches. The floor, forward of the sides, lifts as an open platform.

In the centre of the underframing of the body, channel bearers are introduced to take the two pumps shown. Extra timber bearers are employed at the front end to accommodate the weight of an electric motor and its batteries, the last-named being housed in a locker.

There are also lockers on each side of the body at the rear, each of which is provided with three doors and equipped with an elevating platform device operated by spring rollers and pulleys. These lockers house special apparatus, which is automatically brought into view on the depression of a pedal.

The back of the driver's cabin is panelled out in Flexo metal-faced plywood, the doors and side panels being in sheet steel. Separate tip-up seats, sliding windows and a single-piece windscreen form other features of the cab.

The chassis is interesting, too, in that it is a Bedford 2-tonner with a conversion providing full-forward control.
