• Fiat has decided to bring the pick-up version of its Fiorino in to the UK. The Brazilian-built front-wheel-drive vehicle, one of the smallest on the market, is likely to be shown at the NEC Motor Show in October, though deliveries may not appear until the end of the year. The 1,700kg GVW pick-up will be powered by the 57hp (43kW) 1.7-litre diesel, arid will take a payload of 580kg. The list price will be around £7,000 (ex-VAT).
It is unlikely that Fiat will bring in the Fiorino SX. a "recreational" version with a roll bar and special trim, but the optional canvas load cover would be useful.
Also available in Italy is an independently powered refrigerated box designed to fit the Fiorino's load bed that can also be removed to stand alone.
