• The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) has suggested that Scotland should consider more opportunities for road charging as a way to fund road investment. In its State of the Nation Transport report for 2013, ICE said that money from fuel duty and vehicle tax is not being reinvested directly into the road network and suggested either flat-fee or pay-as-you-go charging should be explored further.

• In the article "Schmitz Cargobull unveils new aluminium curtainsider line-up" (CM 3 October) we said the fixed-roof aluminium curtain-sided trailer will feature on 70% of all Schmitz Cargobull trailers". It should have read: Schmitz Rotos axles feature on 70% of new Schmitz trailers.
