Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CARTWRIGHT Group, the Cheshire-based body and trailer manufacturer, is adding new-build longer semi-trailers to its rental fleet. About 150 new standard length trailers and longer semis will be added to the fleet, expanding it to more than 5,500.

Rental sales director Paul Burn said the availability of longer semi-trailers for rent is probably a first in the industry.

The longer semis will be a mix of singleand double-deck, tall straight frame curtainsiders, as well as box vans, of which some will have two-tier tail-lifts specification, and double-deck refrigerated trailers.

The longer semi-trailer trial revamp allows operators to change their allocations up to 31 December, who then have six months to supply the Department for Transport with proof of an order from a manufacturer to show their commitment.

Cartwright will start buying the trailers after Christmas.

Burns expects the rentals division through the 2013/14 financial year to exceed a £20m annual turnover for the first time.
