I With improved computing power, Boscr's latest generation electronic diesel control unit, the new EDC7, is said to provide more accurate control of engine functions such as
injection timing and quantity, or the turbocharger.
The system can manage all major injection types from common-rail to unit Injector and unit pump. It can also take care of other functions including exhaust gas recirculation; exhaust gas treatment systems; engine braking; thermo-management; an automatic clutch for PTOs; and torque control for systems like traction control or transmission control.
The ECD7 is available in 12 and 24V. it can also be used for vehicle speed regulation and is enabled for diagnostics.
