Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I Increasing demand for aluMum frame trailers has ampted Don-Bur to introduce all-alloy tipping powder tank assis. Its Alu-Tip model is ailable in tandem and tri-axle in with air or mechanical spension.

The first three models, fitwith RO-R Flexair suspenin and tri-axle running gear, ve been built for Kings nn-based bulk tanker manu:turer Metalair.

They have an overall length 9.42m and are fitted with 5/65R 22.5 Michelins on :oa alloy wheels and an tional lifting front axle. A *e weight of only 3,780kg presents a saving of around Okg over a conventional and mparable steel chassis. Shedding weight while retaining maximum frame strength has been achieved by using varying depth 1-beam rails and four torsion boxes at the rear of the chassis. Three of these are positioned to strengthen the main suspension mountings while the fourth is the rearmost crossmember.

An additional smaller torsion box is set between the Jost landing legs.

The Mu-Tip's only major steel component, the fifthwheel rubbing plate, has crossframe supports bolted into the longitudinal chassis members.

Don-Bur has built around 100 aluminium tipping semitrailers, including skeletals for such companies as Arclid, Tilcon and Tankfreight.
