Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BY USING a new delta shape in the construction of a flour tanker for the Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Society Ltd., Carmichael and Sons (Worcester) Ltd. has secured 30 per cent more capacity than conventionally shaped vehicles of the same length.

Other advantages claimed for the new design are a cleaner discharge and the elimination of the discharge cones normally associated with this class of vehicle.

Of the non-tipping variety the tank is 24ft long and has vertical-rib reinforcing along the sides of the vessel giving it a safe working pressure of 18 p.s.i. A new highstrength aluminium alloy recently introduced by James Booth Aluminium Ltd. bearing the identification MG3C is used for the construction of the unit. This is claimed to have good corrosion resistance, cold working and welding properties.
