Patrick Motors are joint Austin commercial-vehicle distributors for the Bir-mingham area and are expanding their commercial,vehicle activities at their Redhill Garage, Redditch Road, King's 'Norton-, Birmingham, 30. Mr. Maxton was formerly with Kennings, Ltd., Derby.

Forty Drivers Fined

4oRE than 40 goods vehicle drivers were fined a to-tal of £100 at uthampton Borough magistrates' court Tuesday following an all-day check by .e.rt traffic examiners at Bassett Terme, Southampton, on June 8. Six drivers were summoned for failing produce a current journey record, and for failing to keep a record. All but e of the drivers were each fined £3 with s. 6d. costs. Summonses against three ivers were adjourned. . One driver, who claimed that the forms pplied by his employers did not provide aces for times of arrival and departure. is granted an absolute discharge on ,yment of 10s. 6d. costs.
