At Tarlton International Raceway, near Krugersdorp. Mick van Rensburg took the top eliminator title, reaching terminal 112km/h in a run of 18.99 seconds with his specia DDA-powered, Bosch-sponsored Ford Cargo.
However, the journal reckons Alan Wareing is the one t watch this season with his Diesel City-sponsored LeyIan( special which reached 117km/I in a run taking 18.48 seconds. Don't ask me why he was second; perhaps there's a han dicap.
