Maidstone, won the Volvo Springball Trophy for the best performance in what its sponsor says i the truck equivalent of an egg-andspoon race.
Paul's first visit to Truckfest was rewarded by a colour television set, not a bad step in a career with the Kent Potato Company with whom h became a Class Three driver two years ago as part of the Young Driver Scheme.
Runner-up, and recipient of a radio/stereo set, was owner-driver Nick Boyce from Maulden, Bedfordshire.
