Plans to introduce a largercapacity ferry on the Fishguard/Rosslare route have been shelved because Sealink cannot find a suitable ship. A new, purpose-built ship is being considered. Meanwhile, the St Brendan will operate the service, which is a joint Sealink/B&I operation, with two sailings a day.
Beaujolais Nouveau for the annual Beaujolais Run is released from France at midnight November 19/20 this year. Owing to freight space allocation problems in the past Sealink is already inviting applications for space on sailings ex-Calais or Boulogne at or immediately after midnight on that date.
