• Hernway Nightfreight Central have been granted authority to move into the former Roadline UK depot at Willenhall, despite opposition raised by both Walsall Borough Council and residents (CM. April 5).
In a written decision issued after a personal inspection of the Gypsy Lane site, West Midlands Licensing Authority Ronald Jackson has granted the company's application to base 12 vehicles and four trailers at the depot for a fiveyear period.
He imposed a condition that the authorised vehicles must enter the site from Walsall Street and leave by Bilston Lane.
