THE RHA's NEW national chairman is Ken Rodgers of Eastern Area who was elected unopposed last Wednesday.

The other senior positions at RHA seemed likely to be contested and the results were not known when we went to press.

There were unconfirmed reports that there could be three or more nominations for the two vice-chairmen posts. The sitting member Harold Russett (Western Area) was expected to be joined in the ballot box by A. Nealy (West Midlands); and J. Mather (Met and South East).

One man not seeking reelection was the national council's longest serving and highly respected member, R. (Dick) Farmer of Atlas Express. A new face in the council chamber this year could be G.
