THE Government is considering whether it should introduce a scheme for the marking of vehicles containing dangerous goods. Announcing this in the Commons on Wednesday, Mr. Henry Brooke, the Home Secretary, noted that provision for marking of this type was included in the European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, which was to come into operation within a year.
