THEquestiOn of purchasing certain workpeople's bus services has been considered by Chesterfield Corporation's routes and fares sub-committee. It has been decided to buy the Brampton-Sheepbridge services recently operated by Mr. W. L. Savidge (Lawson's Motors, Ltd.) and now owned by East Midland Motor Service, Ltd., as well as the services previously worked by Mr. C. C. Corbridge, and now owned by the East Midland concern, from Sheepbridge to the Chesterfield Tube Company's works, and from New Whittington to the works of Robinsons and Sons, Ltd.
Application is to be made to the Traffic Commissioners for the transfer of the licences.
