• Two armed raiders who hijacked a Securicor van in South London last week were foiled by the Datatrak tracking system fitted to Securicor's armoured fleet.
The gunmen held the crew captive and drove the van away loaded with cash for delivery to a building society. But police were directed to the van by Securicor using Datatrak and arrested both men, despite being fired on. The Securicor crew was unhurt.
