last summer as a national association for garage operators who also run recovery services (CM August 16). Now it has established a national office, an association logo and a nationwide membership of 100 garages.
The association has won an agreement with Avis Car Leasing to provide a national, 24-hour recovery service. This will entail all RRRA members being linked into Avis' computer system.
The Association has also been given the status of a consultative group by the Department of Transport.
