STOCKHOLM now has computerized traffic cont.) system for city buses. It similar in some respects that already in use by CIE Dublin.
The Swedish system caw data concerning the positi of buses and the number passengers carried to transmitted to the Great Stockholm Passenger Trar port Company (SL) trafi control.
Shown as the BTL system was supplied by Stansw Elektronik AB with Svena Storno AB and AB Almex sub-contractors. Initially, t system will be experimen1 and extend to 60 bus although it is hoped to evE tually cover 500 buses if resu are satisfactory.
