OF Japanese make, the Van Norman pool. K oyo model 204 brake drum lathe, suitable for machining brake drums and disc pads, has been introduced by Barrus (Concessionaires) Ltd. The 204 is supplied with a selection of bell clamps to cater for all designs of brake drums, ranging from 6 in. to 28 in. in diameter. With this lathe one can carry out machining of brake drums with the wheel assembly still in place.

Power is supplied by a 1 h.p. electric motor driving through a vee-belt and a range of spindle speeds can be obtained from the bank of pulleys.
