The Loudon General Omnibus Co., Ltd., recently displayed notices in its vehicles asking passengers to leave their tickets on the bus, thus avoiding littering the streets. The experiment proved so successful that the company has decided to develop the idea by providing used-ticket boxes on its vehicles. In the first case, the ST and LT-type buses will be so equipped. The boxes are being fitted on the back panel of the bus, just below the level of the rail, which is normally made use of by passengers who are about to alight.
